Privacy policy

Who this covers

Two groups of people: business users (the owners and crew who sign in to ampdIQ) and their customers (people who call, text, book or get service from a business that uses ampdIQ). For customer information, the business is in charge of it and we handle it on the business’s behalf.

What we collect

• Account details: name, email, the business name, trade, phone, city and website.
• Work records the business adds: customers’ names, phone numbers, addresses, jobs, notes, photos, quotes, invoices and signatures.
• Calls and texts: when the business turns on texting, missed-call text-back or the AI receptionist, we handle those calls and texts, including call recordings, transcripts and summaries.
• Location: on crew phones, only while the app is open and only if allowed, to start and stop the job clock and log business miles.
• Payments: card payments are handled by Stripe on Stripe’s own secure page. ampdIQ never sees or stores card numbers. We keep only the payment status and, for saved cards, the card brand, last 4 digits and expiry.
• Connected marketing accounts: if a business connects Google or Meta accounts, read-only reports from them (see below).
• Basic technical data: device type and error logs to keep the app working.

How we use it

Only to run ampdIQ for the business: show its schedule, customers and money; send the texts, emails and alerts it turns on; answer missed calls; take payments; show marketing reports; keep accounts secure; and fix problems. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Google user data

If a business connects a Google account (Google Business Profile, Google Ads or Google Analytics), ampdIQ reads that account’s performance reports (for example views, calls, clicks, spend and website visits) to show them in the Marketing tab, and changes ad on/off status or daily budget only when the owner taps those controls. We do not use this data for anything else, do not sell it, do not use it for advertising, and do not let people read it except with the owner’s permission, for security, or as the law requires.

ampdIQ’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Facebook and Instagram data

If a business connects its Facebook Page or Instagram business account, ampdIQ reads the page and account details and their reports (reach, followers, engagement, ad results) to show them in the Marketing tab. We don’t post anything without the owner’s action, and we don’t sell or share this data. To remove it, see data deletion.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers that make ampdIQ work, each limited to its job: Supabase (database and sign-in), Cloudflare (hosting), Twilio (calls and texts), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Anthropic (the AI that writes call summaries and answers questions), and Google and Meta (only for accounts the business connects). We may also share information if the law requires it, or with a buyer if the business is sold, under this same policy.

How long we keep it

For as long as the business keeps its ampdIQ account. When an account is closed, or a business asks us to delete it, we delete its information within 30 days. Backups roll off within a further 30 days. Disconnecting a Google or Meta account deletes the stored reports and access for that account.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, each business can only see its own records, crew accounts see only their own jobs and no money, and access keys for connected accounts stay on our servers.

Your choices

Business owners can download their customers and jobs from Settings at any time, edit or delete records, and disconnect accounts. Customers of a business should contact that business first; you can also email info@ampdiq.com and we’ll help. To have information deleted, see data deletion.

Texting

Businesses only text customers who gave their number for service. Reply STOP to any text to stop them, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. We never share mobile numbers or text consent with third parties for their marketing.

Children

ampdIQ is for businesses and isn’t meant for anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date above and tell business users in the app or by email before big changes take effect. Questions: info@ampdiq.com.
